Mr. Kareem Beckett

KaReem Beckett was raised in Savannah, Georgia. After graduating from Robert W. Groves High School, KaReem attended Savannah State University. He majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry. KaReem earned a Masters in Education in Education Administration from Grand Canyon University.

After changing careers, KaReem began teaching at Lamar High School in Darlington School District. As a member of the South Carolina PACE program, KaReem developed an interest in planning engaging lessons in real-world math and science application. He has been a member of the W.J. Keenan family for sixteen years, and is a lead team mentor with the award winning Robo-Raiders, Team 1398. The team is a FIRST Robotics team that competes each year in an international technology competition.

KaReem serves as the Lead MSAP teacher. In this role, he leads the Richland One Leadership and Career development magnet program development.
