It is the mission of Richland County School District One to ensure that every elementary school student receives a high quality science education. Furthermore, we are committed to preparing our students to become college and career ready, by providing them with opportunities for exploration, collaboration and problem solving. Our efforts to support both teaching and learning are demonstrated through the utilization of our 5Es Science Content Framework(Engage, Explore, Explain, Extent and Evaluate) and the creation of our curriculum units. Additionally, our goal is to help instill a love for science within all students and to adequately prepare them for careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics.
