    Formative Assessment Fundamentals is part of the Inside the Classroom Series. The modules in the series provide knowledge and skills on classroom learning strategies that facilitate student learning. 

    This module will provide knowledge and skills on classroom learning strategies that facilitate student learning.  The goal will be to build knowledge and skills in understanding various formative assessment practices and when to use them during instruction.

    Module 18-19 LanSchool Todays teachers are faced with the challenge and opportunity of using technology to teach.  Computers are amazing instructional tools, but they can also be a huge distraction to learning. The Internet, instant messaging, email, and games are a constant temptation for students.  LanSchool removes these distractions and gives teachers the control over the students’ digital tools to effectively teach in a 21st century classroom.  This is a self-paced module that requires participants to navigate through the LanSchool OneNote Notebook for presentations, videos, and how to documents for utilizing this resource.     18-19 Pedagogical Response to Poverty

    Certified staff will effectively recognize the educational challenges for students living in various types of poverty and utilize research-based practices to help students overcome those challenges.  Certified staff will develop a plan to implement appropriate pedagogical responses to poverty.
