  • USC Pre-Med Academy  (register at USC Pre-Med Prep Academy)

Pre-Med Prep Academy is a workshop for high school students who are interested in a pre-med/pre-health track in college. Great grades and test scores are necessary, but students must also create a plan to incorporate work and activities into their college curriculum that demonstrates compassion, leadership, teamwork, maturity and a keen knowledge about their chosen profession.

We will discuss academic groundwork, how to create a timeline for incorporating all the essential out-of-the-classroom work and activities needed to craft a competitive application and a medical school interactive activity as well. There will also be upper-class USC pre-med students and USC medical school students on hand to share their secrets for success.

The cost is $40 for a morning filled with valuable information and fun medical school activity! Saturday, March 21, 2020 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm in the Darla Moore School of Business, Room 113. SAT ACT Both the ACT and the SAT will be administered at Dreher on different school days at no cost to juniors.  The ACT will be administered on February 25, 2020 and the SAT on March 4, 2020.

Parents will select which test they would like their child to take.  When making this choice, consider that we will offer the SAT at Dreher on three different Saturdays (November 2, December 7, and March 14), while we will not be offering the ACT at Dreher on any Saturday during the 2019-2020 school year.
