While she was still a Special Education teacher at Dreher, Rebecca Smith-Hill and her colleague, Band Director Dr. Chris Lee established the first South Carolina chapter of United Sound. 

United Sound offers musical performance experiences through peer mentorship for students with special needs.  Read more about it at the website: http://www.unitedsound.org.
