    • Richland One students will continue e-Learning activities for the remainder of the school year.

    A Message from the Principal

    Hyatt Park Families,

     

    As many of you know, Governor McMaster has closed South Carolina schools for the remainder of the 2019 - 2020 school year.  Teachers continue to conduct their lessons utilizing various virtual meeting sites such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams, phone calls, text messages, etc.  We certainly appreciate their efforts during this time of uncertainty. We all miss interacting with our students on a daily basis.

    We will continue to provide resources such as books, various supplies, and computers to our 3rd-5th grade students.  Richland One will be providing a WIFI bus in the 29203 area very soon.  Food distribution continues each Monday between 9am-1pm in the bus loading loop.

    As we continue to weather this storm together, remember “in every crisis there is a message.  Crises are nature’s way of forcing change, breaking down old structures so that something new and better can take their place.”  We are all in this together, Cougars!  Don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have at my direct line of 803-333-8161.  Stay safe!   • RICHLAND ONE TO PROVIDE WEEK’S WORTH OF MEALS FOR STUDENTS ON MONDAYS STARTING MARCH 30; PARENTS ASKED TO COMPLETE ONLINE FORM

    While schools are closed, Richland One is providing “grab-and-go” breakfasts and lunches for students on weekdays at designated locations. Starting March 30, families will receive a week’s worth of meals on Mondays.

     

    Richland One is working with community partners to provide home deliveries to parents who are unable to pick up meals for their children from one fo the 10 sites.  Please call the principal's office at (803) 333-8161 if you need assistance with getting meals to your home.

     

    To help Student Nutrition Services staff know how many meals to prepare, Richland One parents are asked to complete an online form. Parents can access the form directly at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/R1Meals. Parents will receive a follow-up email after they complete the form.

     

    All children 18 and under are eligible to receive the free meals. Parents can drive to any of the locations, remain in their vehicles and staff will distribute the meals curbside. The pick-up hours will be 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Mondays. Children must be present to receive the meals.
