The month of September is coming to a close and it seemed like a blur. It is amazing what we get done in the course of a day, not to mention an entire month. Thanks to those that participated in our fall Open house and to the parents who participated in our first Parent Party on this past Wednesday. We had a great turnout and look forward to your continued support! Hope you enjoyed the special breakfast we provided just for you!
We want to thank our Grandparents for coming out to dine with our students during the week of September 9th. Please don’t hesitate to come back and have lunch or read to a class whenever you are available. We will treat you to a free lunch at least once during the year. Your presence is always WELCOME!!
I am confident that you will join us in our many opportunities that will make our goals and objectives attainable this school year. We have kicked off our PTO World’s Finest Chocolate Candy sale. Our goal is to raise $5,000 towards projects and expenses. This is our last weekend for sales, so please plan to bring in or send in money with your child on Monday, September 30th. Delivery will take place the following week.
Thank you for adhering to our school procedures. However, there are a few procedures that still need your attention:
Following our procedures will assure that we are doing what we can to keep all of our precious cougars safe and maximize on our teaching and learning time!
Our next PTO/SIC meeting of the school year is scheduled for Monday, October 14th at 5:30pm in the Media Center. We will have our Annual Title One meeting at 5:00pm prior to our PTO/SIC meeting. You are welcome to bring your child(ren) if needed. Your presence is needed as we continue to grow a culture and environment conducive to learning. Refreshments will be served.
Please come in to volunteer whenever you can, we’d love to have you.
