• Social science teacher and department chair Kari Griffin encouraged her freshman AP Human Geography students to investigate types of food production throughout the world and present their findings in a poster session format.  Ms. Griffin invited administrators and others to attend the sessions to ask her students to explain what they learned about a specific agricultural practice, such as plantation farming, shifting cultivation, Mediterranean farming, rice cultivation, dairy farming, and livestock ranching.
