One Day/One Dollar Collection for Harvest Hope

On Thursday morning, November 16, volunteers from the Kindness and Key Clubs lined the carpool line and the  entrances to the school asking for donations of one dollar (more or less!) for Harvest Hope. 

We are so pleased to report that thanks to the generosity of our students, parents, and staff, Dreher was able to raise just over $1600. Harvest Hope estimates that for every dollar donated, four meals can be provided to the hungry in our community.  Do the math and you will see that your donations can serve about 6400 meals!

Next...boxes of canned goods and nonperishable items have been weighed, and that total is 567 lbs.  Harvest Hope equates this to 680 meals.
