M.T.S.S. - Multi-Tiered System of Support 

Alcorn Middle School is committed to ensuring all students have access to individualized learning and social-emotional support which helps them be successful in school.  Richland County School District One utilizes a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) approach to meet the needs of all learners.  MTSS is a way of organizing instruction and intervention to help all students. The goal of MTSS is to provide high-quality instruction and supports based on students' needs.
