• AP World History students of Timothy Shipley worked in groups to design posters dissecting the "Autopsy of Empires."

    Mr. Shipley hung the posters in a "gallery" outside of his classroom on the first floor.  Then his students were assigned to a silent tour of the gallery with the goal of studying the posters to choose three causes of the decline of empires. 

    This assignment engaged students in research, visual presentation of data, analysis, and defense of ideas.
