Lost, Damaged or Overdue Books
If a student loses a book, they are responsible for paying the fee at the end of the school year. If a book is damaged, the library staff will do their best to repair it, but if it is beyond repair, the student will have to pay for the cost of the book. There are no fines for overdue books, just make sure to return them on time!
The FHES library operates on a semi-flexible schedule, meaning the lower grades (PreK-2nd) meet for fixed times to have storytime and checkout. The upper grades (3-5) can schedule times to come and use the resources of the library/check out books at the time that is best for them.
