In the letter, you will find information about procedures designed for a safe return. The following survey is only to be filled out if you wish for your child to return to Crayton for the Phase II Hybrid schedule. If you have opted for year-long virtual learning OR you chose hybrid but you wish for them to remain eLearning, do not fill out the following survey: Crayton Return Survey
Crayton Open House

How To Access TEAMS Day One
We are so excited to welcome our Cavaliers to the first day of school, virtually! Above you will find a Youtube video explaining the process of accessing their classrooms. Student computers that cannot access Youtube should use the second link. If your student does not know the account password, please call Crayton at 803-738-7224 for assistance.
FERPA - Media Opt-Out Form
See the link below for Superintendent Witherspoon's message concerning media and the opt-out form. You only need to fill this out and return it if you DO NOT want your child to be in school media such as public awards, sports photos, and the yearbook. This is not a required form. If you choose to fill it out, please send the completed form to the appropriate email(s) address below for your student(s).

As your student comes home from LEAP day or as you come through the drive-thru, some forms require parent signatures. In order to follow COVID procedures, you may email a scanned or photographed version of any of those forms to the following email addresses. Please include your student's name in the email subject.

Cheerleading tryout dates:
Sign Up Dates: August 24-26 (All forms must be in Arbiter Athlete prior to receiving an invite to join teams. Grades and behavior records will be reviewed.)
Send TEAMS Invite: August 31- videos of cheers will be available through teams for athletes to view and practice prior to completing their own videos.
Video Uploads Due: September 3 (Late uploads will not be accepted. Judges will view videos and provide ratings.)
Announce Team: September 7 (The cheer roster will be uploaded to teams.)
Microsoft Teams for Education is a platform enabling lectures, discussions that scale from one-on-one chat to larger group conversation, and the option of focused content work, like assignments and a Class Notebook.

Immunization for 7th Graders
Hello, Crayton Middle School 7th grade parents. I hope everyone has been staying safe over these past few months. We will be starting the school year on August 31st and I will need proof of the 7th-grade immunization Tdap. If you have not provided proof of the Tdap immunization to me, please do so prior to August 31st. All immunizations are required to attend school no matter what forum in the state of SC.

Middle School Athletics - Covid Parent Letter (click to vew)
Middle School Athletics will not return to practice or play until August 19, 2020 the first day of the 2020-21 school year per Richland School District One. Athletes are required to have a completed registration packet on PlanetHS, wear a face mask during specified times, and provide their own water bottle once we return to practice. Please be flexible as we return to practice as additional procedures may be enacted for the safety of our student athletes. If you have any questions please contact Coach Gould at email@example.com.
NO PHYSICALS FROM LAST YEAR ARE VALID UPON OUR RETURN!!! No player is going to be able to participate if they are not academically eligible and have an updated physical with all the corresponding forms uploaded into PlanetHS. Crayton does not accept paper forms. PLEASE do not wait until school starts to complete the necessary online forms or download your students physical forms! Volleyball and Football tryouts will begin the first week of school! Your family doctor is great, but Doctor's care also has $15 physicals and you can check in online and they text you when they are ready for you to come up. Technical Support for eLearning
The Information Technology (IT) Department will provide technical support to all staff, student and parents of Richland School District 1 on eLearning Days. The IT support Team can be reached by calling 803-231-7436. This number will be active Monday through Friday from the hours of 7 am to 5 pm.

PowerSchool Parent Portal Mobile App
The PowerSchool Mobile App gives the parents instant access to information they need to stay informed on student grades, performance, and attendance.
Parents using the PowerSchool Mobile App for the first time will need to have a District Code before they can enter their username and password.
