  • Important       Impact Aid Program Survey Form

Parents, this is the time of year when the district asks families to complete the Impact Aid Survey Form. This survey is very important because it allows our school district to obtain financial assistance based on the number of students who are federally connected in one of the following areas:

    1. The student resides on federal property, Indian land, or in low-rent housing.

    2. The student's parent or guardian works for the federal government, or works on federal property.

    3. The student's parent or guardian is serving in the military.

You will receive the survey form in your child's report card cover on Wednesday, October 30. You will receive a survey form for each of your children, if you have more than one in Richland One schools.

Ask your student for this and please complete and return to Crayton by November 11. Instructions will be included in the report card cover along with the survey form.

    Thank you.

  • Makeup Day/Calendar Revisions

Please be advised that Monday, November 25th will be a makeup day for Richland One students. As you know, our schools and administrative offices were closed September 5th as a precaution due to the forecast for high wind speeds and gusts from Hurricane Dorian, which would have posed hazardous travel conditions for school buses and other vehicles.

Now that November 25th will be a make-up day for students and staff, our Thanksgiving Break will begin on Tuesday, November 26th. November 25th was the first of four make-up days designated in the 2019-2020 calendar. The remaining make-up days (if needed) are November 26th, March 20th and April 10th. The revised calendar is posted on the district’s website (www.richlandone.org).

Also, please be advised of the following revisions to the 2019-2020 calendar unrelated to the hurricane makeup day:

    • Students will be dismissed early on June 5th, which is the last day of school for students.
