  • Rising 6th Grade Parent Night

    We are pleased to announce the upcoming rising 6th grade parent night at Crayton. You are welcome to join us on April 28th or May 4th at 6:00pm in our auditorium.  Please park in the large lot in front of the gym, and walk in through the double doors.  In addition, be on the lookout for your rising 6th grade course selection packet in the mail over Spring Break. We look forward to meeting you!

  • Free Tutoring

    Discus is pleased to announce extended tutoring hours in Tutor.com. Beginning immediately, real time tutoring is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for English and Spanish speakers with no appointment needed!This service is available for all South Carolina residents of all ages.

    Tutor.com offers:

    • Math assistance and drop-off for elementary and middle grades math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I & II, Pre-Calculus and Calculus, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Statistics
    • SAT, PSAT, ACT, and AP test prep
      Spelling, grammar, literature, and vocabulary assistance
    • Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, and Physics assistance
    • Reading and writing assistance for all grades
    • Computer literacy
    • ESL and ELL
    • U.S. History, European History, World History, and Civics assistance
    • French, German, Spanish, and Italian tutors

    If your student would like to take advantage of this, or any other resource Discus offers, they can get log-in informaton from their teachers or the school librarian.

    Before participation in tryouts, practices or any athletic event, all athletes must have an up-to-date physical exam form along with all other require forms on the Planet High school website which will need to be renewed each year.  They can be found here:

  • Afternoon Pick-up

     

    The traffic route in the afternoon has not changed, but there is a new safety measure.  To request your child out of the building you will need to scan our QR code (see the video above).  You do not need to download an app, most smartphones will read a QR code from your camera application.  Here is a practice QR code that should take you to our district website:
