Soar into Summer Success
During the summer, sometimes students like to take a break from learning, which can lead to what educators refer to as the “summer slide.” Richland One has tips to share with parents and families about what they can do at home this summer to keep their children engaged and learning.
The Office of Federal and State Programs is excited to extend an invitation to all Richland One students, parents, and families for the first “SOAR Into Summer Success” district-wide event on June 2, 2018 from 10:00am-1:00pm in the Goodman Building on the SC State Fairgrounds.
"SOAR Into Summer Success" will be a fun, family-oriented day filled with information about summer opportunities, college readiness, community resources, food, games, prizes, entertainment and much more.
“SOAR Into Summer Success” is a FREE event. Please register online at Eventbrite.com under "Soar Into Summer Success" by May 11, 2018. If transportation is needed, please contact (803) 814-4045 and leave a detail message. For additional information, please call (803) 231-6815 or (803) 231-6816. We look forward to seeing you there!
Spring Football Practice for 7th Graders
Practice will be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays beginning May 8 from 4-5:45 pm after school. All students must have a current physical on file.
Sports Pre-participation Athletic Forms
The Athletic Department at Crayton Middle School now hosts their Pre-participation Athletic Forms online with ArbiterAthlete, powered by PlanetHS, a software company committed to keeping your student(s) safe. This digital platform will allow you, and your student(s), to complete and access athletic forms via computer, tablet, or mobile phone. It is HIPPA, COPPA and FERPA compliant.
Athletes cannot participate in sports until digital forms are complete, unless otherwise specified by your school. Forms will be valid for the entire school year for which they are filled out, with the exception of the physical exam provided by your physician which will reflect the policy set in place by your athletic department.
