The first step toward reporting bullying or harassing behavior is taking the time to tell someone. In Richland One, we encourage you to report bullying if you experience or witness it on campus, on the bus, or at school events.
I am excited to be a part of the Watkins-Nance Elementary School family and serve as your new principal. I have already noticed that our school community has dedicated, hard-working, talented members that are committed to doing what is best for our students. I promise to continue to put students first and work tirelessly to ensure that they are successful. I will make sure that the greatness of Watkins-Nance is recognized all across the state.
For the past 15 years, I have worked in public education as a teacher, as a coach and as an administrator. I have experience in high school and middle school, and I have served as an elementary school assistant principal for the past eight years. This will be my sixth year here in Richland School District One, and I look forward to using my experiences as your new principal.
In addition to my professional achievements, my greatest accomplishment is my family. As a parent, I always want what is best for my child, and I will work to ensure that your children have the best possible educational experiences at Watkins-Nance Elementary. Building strong relationships is at the heart of all of my work, and I look forward to working with our staff, students, and parents as we build positive relationships that focus on the success and well-being of our students.
I am honored and humbled to serve as the new principal of Watkins-Nance Elementary, and I look forward to meeting each and every one of you. My door is always open, and I’m excited about the accomplishments that are ahead for our students and our school.
