  • Dear Kangaroo Families,

It’s hard to believe we have made it to the end of the Quarter One.  In this Season of Thanksgiving, we encourage you to keep an attitude of gratitude.  We have much to be thankful for as we partner together to benefit our “Kangaroos”.  Please remember we are always here to address concerns.  If we missed you on parent teacher conference day it is not too late to reschedule with your learner’s teacher.

As we approach cooler temperatures, it is important to monitor student clothing.  As temperatures vary greatly from AM to PM, please ensure students wear jackets.  Hats, scarves and gloves will soon be necessary.  With the variance in temperature, we typically notice an increase in students with illness.  Please call the school when your child has been diagnosed with strep throat, pneumonia, and flu and head lice.  Also, I ask that you follow the guidelines as outlined in the student handbook for keeping your child home when he/she is ill.

    • This means students do not return to school until they are fever-free for 24 hours.
    • If a student vomits, they need to wait 24 hours before returning to school.
    • If you have questions about whether or not your child is able to return to school, feel free to give us a call.

As a reminder, If your child should need medication (prescription or over the counter) a completed medication form must be on file in the clinic.

Thanks again for all you do,

    Samantha Carlisle
