    I am Alayshia S. Steadman-Barr and I have the honor of serving as your School Social Worker. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with years of experience serving students, families, individuals and communities within various settings. Mrs. Steadman-Barr’s purpose is to serve, support, inspire and advocate for change and growth.

    School Social Worker Check In: 

    1.  Talk to someone positive everyday! 
    2.  Get up at a set time, wash and get dressed! 
    3. Exercise daily: dance, yoga, aerobics, walk around the neighborhood, do a “clean” TikTok video
    4. Take a break.. listen to a song, draw a picture, write a rap or poem, pray, mediate, look at a funny tv show
    5. Remember if you send it via text, social media or video... it is never truly deleted 
    6. Be kind 
    7. Check in on someone 
    8. Think before you Act
