Mr. Glover is a native of Cameron, SC where he was reared by his grandparents. Having the heart to be around youngsters was noticed in his high school years at Calhoun County High School in St. Matthews, SC. He decided to attend the first Historically Black College and University in South Carolina, Claflin University, graduating as the only male with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Elementary Education. Prior to graduation from Claflin, he realized that he wanted to help students in other ways than academics. Therefore, he attended graduate school at South Carolina State University earning a Masters of Education in Counselor Education. The first and only job assignment as a professional school counselor was in Richland One at Mill Creek Elementary for 14 years. As he worked at Mill Creek he earned an Education Specialist degree from South Carolina State University. The stars aligned and he is now an Assistant Administrator at Hyatt Park Elementary School. His lifelong motto is simple, "Learn to listen, listen to learn."
