Download the 2019-2020 Tardy Policy - and don't be late!

It is the belief of Dreher High School that each student should be entitled to the maximum instructional time each day. For students to acquire the knowledge and skills to become proficient, they need to be on time to each class, every day. Therefore, a tardy policy has been implemented to support and reinforce this philosophy.

    1st Block:

    • Student(s) will NOT be allowed to enter their 1st block class if more than 10 minutes late, after the tardy bell.

    • Student(s) must go to Attendance or an Administrator for a pass. The teacher will enter the tardy.

    2nd – 4th Blocks:

    • Student(s) will NOT be allowed to enter 2nd, 3rd, or 4th blocks if more than 5 minutes late, after the tardy bell.

    • Student(s) must go to Attendance or an Administrator for a pass. The teacher will enter the tardy.
