Cell Phone Policy

Students are strongly encouraged to leave cell phones at home. We understand some students need their phones to communicate with parent/guardian at arrival or departure from school. Students who must bring their phones with them will be required to store their cell phones in the Homeroom lockbox (locked all day, until dismissal). Each student will be assigned a cubby until the end of the school day, every day. Any student refusing to follow this procedure, will be disciplined according to the RSDO Student Code of Conduct, (Level II violation). All classrooms and offices have an operable phone, teachers can be reached phone during non-instructional time and an emergency phone is stored in the Main Office.
