  • A Message from the Principal

richardson Welcome to Annie Burnside Elementary....Home of the BEES, where we Believe, Encourage, Engage, and Support every student, everyday! . We have an exceptional teaching and support staff that works tirelessly for the benefit of our children each day.

We are committed to providing a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment that ensures the academic success of ALL students. It is our intention for each one of our students to leave Burnside Elementary equipped with critical thinking skills and a love of learning.

This year we are remembering that, "A Leader's A Leader No Matter How Small!"  Our goal is to continue to build a community of learners and leaders through the use of the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People and our AVID implementation for third, fourth, and fifth grade students.

We invite you to visit our school and experience how we are making a positive difference in the lives of our children.

Habit 4:  Think Win Win:  Everyone Can Win

Habit 5:  Seek First to Understand, Then to be Understood:  LIsten before you talk

Habit 6:  Synergize:  Together is Better
