each child to have his own.

Students should record 5 facts in their
folders. Students
should then take the 10 problem quiz on the site
and record the questions and answers in their
folders. Students
can check their answers at the website.

Students will use these charts for future
reference when studying the metric system.

homework students are to interview 10 people.
Occupations are to be recorded and how
they use the customary or metric system in their
work. This
assignment would be good to do over a weekend or
at least a two day period.

metric and customary systems
are used in every day
situations. Include this in your folder.

folder will be a reference guide for measurement
throughout the year.
Students will be able to add to the
folder when obtaining additional, valuable
