Use of School Facilities

The school board encourages the use of school facilities by community groups, when such use is for public, rather than private, activities. Use of district facilities is restricted to times and conditions under which the planned activities will not interfere with nor be detrimental to the school’s educational program.

Facilities available

Auditoriums, little theatres, athletic stadiums, gymnasiums, classrooms and cafetoriums, including the Dreher auditorium and the A.C. Flora Little Theatre, are available for rent by the community. Community groups interested in using a facility should contact the respective principal.

Additionally, Keenan Theatre is available for community use for professional shows and other, auditorium-related activities. The scheduling and rental of Keenan Theatre is done through the Keenan Theatre manager, 738-7240.

Fees

Fees for rental of various areas within a school and also Keenan Theatre are approximately equal to the cost of using the facility; commercial enterprises, however, will pay a higher fee for the use of Keenan Theatre. The respective principals and Keenan Theatre manager have the rental fee schedules and can discuss fees with prospective renters at the time of discussing use of the facility.
