After-School Care

Most elementary schools have after-school care programs located at the school. Programs are operated by licensed child-care providers approved by the district.

Programs operate from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. A fee is charged for these programs. Scholarships are available for needy students.

Other agencies, including churches and private day-care centers, also provide before- and after-school care. Students may be able to ride the school bus to these programs in their attendance zone or may be picked up at school. Call the school office to find out what programs serve your child’s school and how to enroll.
