The Richland One Service Resource Directory
 

This Resource Directory/Database originates from Richland One's Strategic Plans to enhance the quality of education and services to children and families. Specifically, this Database stems from Strategy 2, Plan 4 - Create an Inventory of service resources. This project supports the following District goal - Barriers to Address Student Achievement.

This project supports the following objectives:

  • The district will develop an inventory of service resources, which will be available to staff, parents, and students, which addresses social and psychological factors that interfere with student achievement.

  • The District will integrate technology throughout the system to best achieve the District's mission and goals
Mission and Statement of Purpose for Resource Directory:

Richland County School District One has a number of students who display challenging social, emotional, and behavior problems. In Columbia and Richland County, there are a number of agencies that offer services for these students. There are also a number of in-district initiatives that assist these students. The district will publish and keep current an inventory of service resources where staff, parents, and student can find resources to assist students. This inventory will be on the Richland One website so that it is easily accessible to parents, teachers, and students. Publishing the inventory on the Internet will have the additional advantage of offering links to a vast array of information and resources.
