Description: This is a primary care facility providing general family
practice. The clinic provides free medical care for residents of Richland
County who do not have other means to receive medical care. Individuals
or families must meet income guidelines.

Physician staff includes a pediatrician and infectious disease specialist.
Anyone is eligible for services. Individuals and families ability to
pay is on sliding scale and is based on the federal government's poverty
scale. Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance, and private pay are also
accepted. Clinics treat anything from the common cold to HIV infection.
Preventive Health and Dental Hygiene services are also provided.

Description: A variety of clinics prevention and treatment services,
including immunizations of children and adults; the Women, Infants, and
Children's Program (WIC), a nutrition risk assessment program for children
up to five years old and women who are pregnant, breast feeding or post-partum
patients. Family Planning and Maternity, including periodic health exams,
health education, risk assessment, pre- hospital admittance planning
for delivery and contraceptive supplies for pregnancy prevention. Child
Health, including well baby clinic (well-care) and referrals to private
medical doctors for sick children (sick-care). Sexually Transmitted Disease,
including assess, diagnosis, and treatment for disease resulting from
sexual contact. Tuberculosis Clinic, including assess, diagnosis and
treatment of at-risk or infected individuals; HIV Education, including
counseling and testing.

Description: The role of the Title One Nurse is to assist with student's
academic progress by helping to reduce any physical, and /or emotional
problems that may interfere with learning. The Title One Nurse targets
elementary Title One schools through assisting the district nurses by
conduction mass screenings and classroom and/or parental presentations
and workshops. The Title One Nurse makes appointments with identified
medical providers for referred students and follows up with students
to assure that appointments are kept. If you have further questions,
