Promotion Standards and Grading Scale
 
How many credits do I need to be promoted from one grade level to another in middle and high school?

Middle School

Students in grades six, seven, and eight must pass reading, language arts, mathematics, science and social studies and meet standards required by state regulations to be promoted to the next grade. 

High School

CLASS PROMOTION STANDARD
Freshman Promotion from 8th Grade
Sophomore 5 Credits (1 English unit & 1 Math unit)
Junior 11 Credits (2 English units & 2 Math units)
Senior 16 Credits (3 English units & 3 Math units)

 

What is the Grading Scale?

A 100-93
B 92-85
C 84-77
D 76-70
F 69-BELOW
