programs in Richland One:
Band
(6th-12th grades) - Just
register for the class at the school/contact
band teacher. Band teacher will work
with the student/family to recommend
which instrument and how to obtain
one. No audition required.
Orchestra
(5th - 12th grades) - Just
register for class at the school/contact
orchestra teacher. Orchestra teacher
will arrange to recommend which instrument
and how to obtain one. No audition
required.
Chorus
(6th -12th grades) - Just
register/ no prerequisites required
- Some high schools have an "Honors
Chorus" that requires an audition -
Check with individual schools for that
info.
Dance
- (6th - 12th grades) -
Requires an audition. Dates are set
by the Dance Instructor at the school.

Theatre/Drama
- (6th - 12th grades) -
Requires an audition. Dates for auditions
are set by Theatre/Drama Instructor.

Visual
Arts- (K - 12th grades) - All
elementary students have art. At the
Middle and High School levels, it is
an elective. Just register for it at
the school. Some schools have "Honors
Art" classes that a portfolio must
be submitted for approval of registration.

General
Music (K-12) - All
elementary students take general music.
Some Middle and High Schools also offer
this course of study, but it varies
from school to school. No audition
or prerequisites for General Music.
