Classroom Innovation Teacher Grants
The
Partners in Education Classroom Innovation
Teacher Grants Program gives teachers
an opportunity to develop innovative
educational projects to enhance the learning
experience of their students. It gives
teachers a resource for expanding and
enhancing the curriculum for the benefit
of students in Early Childhood through
12th grade. Richland One's Partners In
Education Foundation, a 501(c) (3) nonprofit
organization, administers the program.

GRANT
CRITERIA & ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for a $500 Partners in Education Classroom Innovation
Teacher Grant, you must be teaching Child Development through 12th grade
in Richland School District One. An individual teacher or teacher teams
may submit grant proposals. The proposals must be submitted by the person(s)
who will implement the project. Multiple proposals will be accepted,
but individual teachers or teacher teams are eligible to receive only
one $500 grant per semester.
Grant recipients must use the grant to implement the educational program
described in your application by the end of the academic year in which
the grant award is made and submit a follow-up report detailing the use
of grant dollars as well as an evaluation of the project.
Partners In Education will award Classroom Teacher Innovation Grants
biannually. In awarding grants, Partners in Education will not discriminate
on the basis of the applicant's race, color, age, creed, gender, religion
or national origin.
GRANT
PROJECTS SHOULD:
- Improve
and enhance a classroom's academic
environment.
- Be
implemented in the same academic year
in which it is awarded.
- Encourage
creative experiences for students.
- Be
standards-based.
- Complement
major goals of the district.
- Be
endorsed by the principal of the applicant's
school.
Each
section of the grant application will
be reviewed by the following criteria:
