FOUNDATION ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR 2007 STEVENSON MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP

Richland One’s Partners In Education Foundation is accepting applications for the 2007 Dr. John R. Stevenson Music Scholarship. The $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a Richland One high-school senior who plans to pursue post-secondary study in music.

Applications and teacher recommendation forms may be downloaded from the Stevenson Scholarship Form page. Applications and recommendations are due to the Richland One Office of Communications by Friday, March 30, 2007.

The scholarship is named in honor of Richland One Superintendent Emeritus Dr. John R. Stevenson, who served as the district’s superintendent from 1986-1994. Stevenson was inducted into the Richland One Hall of Fame in November 2004.

Partners In Education is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works to support and enhance the quality of education in Richland One and to help advance the district’s mission.
