1. For the District to purchase a PDA for an employee, the PDA must make the employee more productive. The PDA should be selected based on the intended use by the employee.
   
2. There will be two PDA models available depending on the needs of the employee. These will be updated on a regular basis as needs and technology change.
   
3. A justification form will be completed by the employee, signed by their supervisor, and submitted to the committee for review. Based on the justification form, the committee will determine the model that is to be purchased.
   
4. The department should forward a copy of the committee recommendation and the justification form to purchasing along with the requisition. This can be attached to the requisition in Munis so that a hard copy does not need to be sent. Purchasing will not proceed with the procurement unless they receive the justification form and the committee recommendation.
   
5. If the employee/supervisor feels the committee needs to consider a different model for the employee, the supervisor can contact the committee chairperson and give additional information.

A. A justification form completed by the employee and signed off by their supervisor. The form should then be forwarded to the PDA Committee to ejagan@richlandone.org. The PDA committee will review the justification and send a recommendation to the supervisor and indicate the model being approved.

B. The justification form and the committee recommendation must be forwarded to purchasing in order for the procurement to be completed. This can be done by sending a hard copy to purchasing or by attaching the two forms to the requisition in Munis.
