Richland One Board of School Commissioners to Meet
The Richland One Board of School Commissioners will hold its next regularly scheduled meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 23 at Meadowfield Elementary, 525 Galway Lane. Meeting agendas are posted on the district’s Web site at www.richlandone.org; click on the School Board link.

South Carolina Children’s Book Authors to Visit Bradley Elementary
The husband-and-wife writing team Bernice and Andy Tate of Bluffton, South Carolina, will share their delightful children’s books, The Wormleys and What the Elephant Forgot, with Bradley Elementary students on Thursday, October 25 at 8 a.m. The authors, who have been married for more than 40 years, have presented at the Lincoln Center and have worked extensively in educational television and children’s theater.

C. A. Johnson Preparatory Academy Hosts Homecoming Celebration
Alumni, students, parents and supporters of C.A. Johnson Preparatory Academy are invited to the school’s 2007 Homecoming Parade and Hornet Fest. The event will be held at 5:45 p.m. on Friday, October 26.
