Board of School Commissioners to Meet
The Richland One Board of School Commissioners will hold its next regularly scheduled meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 9 at the Stevenson Administration Building, 1616 Richland Street. Health Ministry Empowerment Tour Coming to Lower Richland
The Sixth Annual Health Ministry Empowerment Tour for Women is coming to Lower Richland High School on Saturday, October 13. Participants can look forward to a day of free medical screenings, lifestyle workshops and entertainment. This year’s keynote speaker is award-winning actress Dr. Tonea Stewart. Doors open at 8 a.m. The event is free, but pre-registration is required. The tour is sponsored by IMARA Woman Magazine and Select Health of South Carolina. District to Dedicate New Dreher High School
Richland One will hold a ceremony to dedicate the new Dreher High School at 4 p.m. Sunday, October 14 in the school’s gym. The program will include speakers, student entertainment, a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tours of the new school. Dreher is located at 3319 Millwood Avenue.
