Announcement of Hall of Fame Inductees
And the winners are..??? The names of the five persons selected for induction into the Richland One Hall of Fame this year will be announced during a news conference at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 17 in Room 102 of the Stevenson Administration Building, 1616 Richland Street. The Hall of Fame honors outstanding Richland One alumni and others who have made significant contributions to the district, their professions, their communities and society as a whole. The 2006 induction ceremony will be held Thursday, November 2 at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.

Richland One Sportsarama to Kick off Football Season
On Saturday, August 19, six Richland One football teams and their competitors will meet on the gridiron of Memorial Stadium at Sportsarama 2006. The annual football jamboree begins at 5:00 p.m. Admission to the event is $5.00. This year’s lineup will pit Richland One teams against each other as well as two out-of-town rivals. The game schedule is listed below:

Game 1: C.A. Johnson vs. Keenan - 5:15 p.m.
Game 2: Fairfield Central vs. Lower Richland - 6:05 p.m.
Game 3: Eau Claire vs. A.C. Flora - 6:55 p.m.
Game 4: Dreher vs. Orangeburg-Wilkinson High - 7:45 p.m.
