SC State Head Football Coach & USC Head Track Coach will be guest speakers at Richland One’s Coaches Convocation
It’s time to talk sports. More than 200 Richland One coaches, along with SC State University head football coach Buddy Pough and USC head track coach Curtis Frye, will be talking sports nonstop at Richland One’s 6th Annual Coaches Convocation, Thursday, August 3, from 7:45 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Olympia Learning Center, 621 Bluff Road. The convocation is a professional development activity which gives Richland One’s coaches and athletic directors an opportunity to sharpen their coaching skills and game strategies and get tips on improving the individual performance of student athletes.
Coach Pough will be the featured speaker of the general session (8:30 a.m. – 9:10 a.m.). Coach Frye will share his experiences during the luncheon (12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.) The district’s Middle and High School Coaches of the Year, along with the H. B. Rhame Athletics Director’s Cup winner, will also be recognized during the luncheon.
