Columbia High to Host 2nd Annual Parent University
Parents and students are invited to attend Columbia High School’s 2nd Annual Parent University, on Tuesday, March 10, from 6-8 p.m. in the school cafeteria. Representatives from state and local agencies, colleges, and law enforcement agencies will provide information about their services. There will be snacks and drawings for door prizes. March 11 Early Dismissal Date Changed to March 25
Just in case some parents have forgotten, Richland One would like to remind them that the early dismissal date for elementary and middle school students originally scheduled for March 11 has been changed to March 25 because of a change in the state standardized testing schedule. Students will be taking the new Palmetto Assessment of State Standards (PASS) test March 11-12.


Southeast Middle School to Celebrate Cultural Dress Day
It’s a combination international fashion show and opportunity to honor their ancestors’ heritage. On Friday, March 13 students and staff of Southeast Middle School will celebrate Cultural Dress Day by wearing kimonos, saris, kente cloth tops and other colorful outfits from around the world.
