DISTRICT CHOSEN AS PILOT SITE FOR SUMMER ONLINE COURSES
Richland One has been identified as a primary participant in the South Carolina Virtual School Pilot being implemented by the State Department of Education. This exciting learning opportunity is a part of the state’s overall e-Learning professional development program and the current legislative efforts to establish guidelines for virtual schools.
The district will offer two exciting elective courses this summer - Web design and global studies. Both courses are open to high-school students and are limited to ten students each. Richland One students will be given first preference for enrollment. The registration deadline is May 31.
