‘Green Eggs and Ham’ On
the Menu at Burton-Pack
Read Across America is an annual event that
celebrates the importance of reading on the
birthday of Dr. Seuss, the nation’s
most beloved children’s book author.
On Tuesday, February 28, students at Burton-Pack
Elementary will celebrate the day in style
by wearing Dr. Seuss top hats and bow ties
they have made. One class will have a breakfast
of "green eggs and ham." Community
members have been invited to come in and
read their favorite Dr. Seuss books to students.
(Note: Dr. Seuss’ birthday is actually
March 2, but Burton-Pack students will celebrate
it a few days early because of scheduling
conflicts.)
