STUDENT HOLIDAY

Monday, February 20 is a student holiday/professional development day in Richland School District One. Classes will resume on Tuesday, February 21.

RICHLAND ONE TO SHOWCASE TECHNOLOGY

"Sharing, Learning and Leading with Technology" is the theme of Richland One’s first Technology Fair, which is set for Wednesday, February 22. The exciting event will take place on the E and F wings on the Olympia School Campus at 621 Bluff Road.

All district schools will have displays showcasing how technology resources and tools are being used in daily instruction. Student projects, teacher demonstrations, a technology Help Desk for parents and the mobile science and technology lab also will be featured at the fair. Robotics teams, computer certification programs and award-winning entries from the district’s Visual Literacy Festival will be highlighted, too.

"The Technology Fair represents the types of outcomes we expect to see in our schools as we take full advantage of the investments made in technology in our district," said Ida Thompson, director of Instructional Technology Services.
