Middle Years International Baccalaureate Program

Richland One’s Crayton Middle School is one of only a few South Carolina schools approved to offer the prestigious International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program (MYP). The program involves all students in grades 6-10 at Crayton and at A.C. Flora High, which offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. The three fundamental concepts of the MYP are holistic learning, communication and intercultural awareness. The MYP requires schools to offer eight subject groups: language A (English), language B (foreign language), humanities, science, mathematics, the arts, technology and physical education.
