Richland One School Wins State Odyssey of the Mind Competition
Students from Lewis Greenview Elementary will represent South Carolina in the World Finals of the Odyssey of the Mind Competition to be held in Lansing, Michigan in May. Three teams of students from Lewis Greenview took first-place awards in the state championship on March 10. Those wins qualified them to go to the finals where they will compete with hundreds of teams from around the world. Other teams from Lewis Greenview also placed in the state competition.
A team from Sanders Middle School took home a third-place win. The Odyssey of the Mind is an annual event that requires teams to come up with their own creative solutions to real-life problems.
