"The Mikado" To Be Performed At Eau Claire High School

The Columbia College / Eau Claire High School Arts Partnership invites the community to its upcoming Evening of The Mikado:  Opera at Eau Claire.  This highlighted version of Gilbert and Sullivan’s famous work, The Mikado, will be presented at Cottingham Theatre on the campus of Columbia College at 8:00 pm, Friday, March 11, 2005.  

The evening will feature student performers from Eau Claire High school under the direction of Mr. Nicholas Smith, Music Director for the SC Philharmonic, and Ms. Christin Owens, soprano soloist for the SC Philharmonic.  Orchestration will also be provided by the SC Philharmonic.

Tickets are $5.00 for the General Public, and free to Columbia College and Eau Claire High School Faculty and Students.  Advance reservations can be made by calling 735-7608.
