Richland One Begins Superintendent
Search
The Richland One Board of School Commissioners
has begun the process of conducting a national
search for a new superintendent.
As part of the initial search process, the
Board will schedule focus group sessions to
gather public input, as well as a series of
employee input sessions. The Board will hold
a community forum at 6 p.m. Wednesday, February
16 in the auditorium at the Olympia School
Campus, 921 Bluff Rd. The public will be notified
of the dates for the other sessions as soon
as they are finalized.
Following the search process, the Board will
make its final decision on the selection of
the superintendent.
The Board is searching for a superintendent
to succeed Dr. Ronald L. Epps, who recently
resigned to take a position with the private
Stupski Foundation after leading the district
six years. The Board appointed Deputy Superintendent
Dr. Richard Moniuszko to serve as interim superintendent
effective February 1.
