Prom for Senior Citizens:
An Evening In Paradise
Columbia High School is
inviting anyone over the age of 50 to attend
the Senior Citizen Prom on Saturday, March
4th, from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. at the Tri-City
Leisure Center, 700 Dreher Road in West Columbia.
Seniors can dance the night away and enjoy
an evening of jazz and delicious food. The
event is being hosted by the Columbia High
School Student Council. A senior citizen "prom
king and queen" will be crowned at the
party. The theme of the event is an evening
in paradise. There is no admission fee for
seniors. Students at Columbia High School raised
money for the event and collected door prizes
to make this an evening to remember for seniors
in the Midlands.
