ROSETA Group Departs for
West Africa
The 2005 Richland One Student Exchange To
Africa (ROSETA) group departed Columbia for
Ghana West Africa on Sunday, May 29. The
students, ambassadors from their respective
middle schools, have studied Ghana as compared
to South Carolina and the United States.
During the 12-day stay, the ROSETA participants
will experience the culture of Ghana by visiting
schools and touring historical sites. The
group will return home on June 12. This year's
theme is One State + One Country--Twice the
Opportunity.
