Caughman
Road teacher named S.C. Preserve America
History Teacher Priscilla McPheeters, a fourth-grade teacher at Caughman Road Elementary School, has been selected as the South Carolina Preserve America History Teacher of the Year. This award is presented as a part of the Preserve America group, in cooperation with the Gilder Lehrman Institute. McPheeters will represent South Carolina in the national competition in the fall. She will receive $1000 for her personal use, $1000 for her classroom, a plaque from Preserve America, and a history archive for her school.
