Two Richland One Seniors To Graduate With Perfect Attendance

When they walk across the stage to receive their diplomas at the Carolina Coliseum, two Richland One seniors will do so without having missed a single day of school in 12 years.

Alvin Gerard Thompson Jr. of W.J. Keenan High and Phillip Charles Price of A.C. Flora High are among only 73 students statewide that will graduate this year with perfect attendance from first grade through their senior year of high school.

Thompson and his classmates from Keenan will line up in their caps and gowns for their graduation ceremony at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, while Price and his Flora classmates will turn their tassels during an 8 a.m. Wednesday ceremony.
