Nine Keenan Students Win Awards
for Outstanding Educational Achievement
Nine Keenan High School
seniors recently received the High Schools
That Work Award of Educational Achievement
from the Southern Regional Education Board
(SREB). Students who have completed a challenging
academic program, scored high on rigorous exams
and have demonstrated that they are ready for
employment or college receive the award.
Richland One commends these students for their
outstanding efforts. They received personalized
certificates and congratulatory letters from
SREB at a school assembly on May 16. Their

The Southern Regional Education Board is a
multi-state compact for education, founded
in 1948. High Schools That Work is the largest
high school improvement effort in the United
States with more than 1,100 school sites in
32 states. It is supported by member states
and grants from organizations such as the Bill
and Melinda Gates Foundation and the Carnegie
Corporation.
