Up for Lion King Auditions
Disney Theatrical Productions, in
collaboration with Richland One's Office of
After-School Programs, is holding open call
auditions for "The
Lion King" Saturday, Dec. 4 at Logan Elementary
School, 815 Elmwood Ave.
The producers are looking
for replacements to play the role of the
African lion cubs Simba and Nala, both on Broadway
and in national touring companies.
Children
must be between the ages of 9 and 12,with
a maximum height of 58 inches, and sing, dance
and act. Persons auditioning must be prepared
to learn the last verse of "Just
Can't Wait To Be King."
Sign-in
begins at 9:30 a.m., auditions begin
at 10 a.m., and sign-in ends at 11:30
a.m. Parents or guardians must remain at
the audition site.
