Kick-Off To Literacy Celebration

The district's Reading First "Kick-Off To Literacy" Celebration is Wednesday, Oct. 13 from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at Carver-Lyon Elementary. The event is open to students in grades K-3 who attend Carver-Lyon, Hyatt Park, Lewis Greenview and Mill Creek elementary schools and their families.

The program will feature Clifford-the Big Red Dog, the Cat in the Hat, mascots, cheerleaders and football players from USC, Benedict College and Allen University. The football players will be reading to families and participating in storytelling activities.
