Hunger and Homeless Awareness
Week Art Contest
November
13-19, 2005 has been designated nationally
as Hunger and Homeless Awareness Week.
For
the eighth consecutive year, the Parents
and Students Succeed (PASS) Project and
the Visual and Performing Arts Department
have collaborated to sponsor a student poster
art contest. The theme for this year's
contest is HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS. All "placed" artwork
will be on exhibit at the Columbia Museum
of Art through the end of November.
The
grand prize winner (pictured at right) in
this year's poster contest is Tyler Deese
a 12th grade student at Dreher High School. Congratulations
Tyler on a job well done!
