District seeks Richland One memorabilia for Hall of Fame Room

In November, Richland One’s Partners In Education Foundation will hold a gala ceremony at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center to honor the eight persons selected to be the first inductees into the Richland One Hall of Fame.

The new convention center also will house the Richland One Hall of Fame Room, which will include display space for Richland One memorabilia. This summer the district is collecting items to display in the Hall of Fame Room. We are looking for artifacts that are significant to and representative of the district’s rich history, which dates to the late-1800s. These historically significant items may range from old photographs and documents to furnishings, equipment, trophies and other objects from current or defunct district schools or depicting district students, graduates, staff and/or board members.
